Gravel/Shingle - a great value option for large driveways
Gravel driveways in Surrey can be created in a wide variety of colours and sizes, with a variety of uses. Whether you want to give a new look to an existing driveway, path or patio or to enhance the appearance of a flower-bed or border.
At Aesthetic Gardens & Drives Ltd, our gravel driveways are always installed with a permeable, weed suppressant membrane underneath. This is highly recommended to prevent future weed growth, and the membrane we use is hard-wearing enough to support regular footfall.
Gravel driveways suitable for cars
If your driveway is to be driven over on a regular basis, it can can be installed using an M.O.T stone sub-base with its own separate membrane. This prevents future sinking, where the weight of heavy vehicles can sometimes compress the aggregate.
Shingle driveways add security to a Surrey property
Don't forget, the addition of a new gravel driveway surface gives you an extra level of security to your premises. Visitors will rarely be able to cross the surface silently, giving you that little bit of extra safety.
